2017 in Times Square NewYork. Great visit😃

I have spent over 15 years teaching English in various parts of Spain and loved every minute of it. This Christmas we decided to take a holiday to bisit my son and his famy in Vancouver Canada. We left sunny Alicante on 23rd of December for a 2 weeks. First we went to Madrid to catch our flight so we stayed for a whole day and enjoyed visiting the many famous museums and parks. Then we flew to visit my son in Canada Vancouver. IT was a cery long trip but worth it. Everywhere looked wonderful with snow and people rushing about shoping. Then we went to Toronto to see Niagara Falls. Ohh it was superb! It's hard to stop gazing at this delightful scene- the Canadian side of the waterfall and USA side. The view was spectacular. Then off we went to spend 6 days in NewYork to bring in the Newyear in Times Square. Wow!! We were almost crushed to death and we had to leave after only a few hours. Some people stood there for more than six hours to see the big ball fall at 12 o'clock New years eve. I missed eating the 12 grapes like Spanish people do.

People everywhere were so kind and helpful to us.

Now I'm back in El Campello, happily writing my grammar books and teaching my students, some of whom have been with me many many year from their childhood to adulthood and my past students are now sending their children to me for English classes. For me this is a great honer and a very lovely way to enter another new year.

Happy 2017 to all my students and students everywhere. Don't give up, the succeeding is in what you do and by doing it you are succeeding.

Saludos a todos

ps😂 My New Year resolution is to raise my level of Spanish. Because I teach all day and write my books at night I never have time to practise. Well, that is my excuse anyway. 😘
